About Our School

Ohana College is an independent co-ed secondary school, offering an alternative approach to education for young people who have disengaged from mainstream schooling.

Ohana College tailors its educational programs to promote continuous engagement and meet individual student learning needs and interests, whilst focussing heavily on student well-being. This is achieved whilst still exposing students to the essential literacy, numeracy and life skills required to succeed in today’s society. Ohana College uses a variety of strategies, including Project-Based Learning, the Arts, Adventure-Based Learning and life-skills programs as a means to promote continuous engagement and learning.

The College offers a suite of programs that expose students to enriched learning experiences, indicative of societal expectations and curriculum imperatives that meet the complex demands of 21st-century life.
